УНІКАЛЬНІ КОЛЕКЦІЇ ПАЛЕОНТОЛОГІЧНИХ ШЛІФІВ З ПРИМЕЖОВИХ МІССІСІПСЬКО- ПЕНСИЛЬВАНСЬКИХ ВІДКЛАДІВ ДОНЕЦЬКОГО БАСЕЙНУ, ЩО ЗБЕРІГАЮТЬСЯ В ІНСТИТУТІ ГЕОЛОГІЧНИХ НАУК НАН УКРАЇНИ

Метою статті є оприлюднення та інтегрування у світовий науковий простір інформації про унікальні колекції палеонтологічних шліфів з примежових міссісіпсько-пенсильванських відкладів карбону Донецького басейну, що були зібрані видатними україн‑ ськими палеонтологами-стратиграфами Д. Є. Айзенвергом, Н. Є. Бражніковою, О. І. Берченко, Н. В. Василюк упродовж другої половини XX ст. та нині зберігаються в Інституті геологічних наук НАН України. Колекції походять зі стратотипових і опорних розрізів запалтюбинського та вознесенського горизонтів Донбасу, встановлених Д. Є. Айзенвергом і Н. Є. Бражніковою у 1975 р., які складають парастратотиповий розріз верхньої частини серпуховського ярусу. Наведено короткий опис колек‑ цій, висвітлено їх наукову цінність та значення для проведення різнопланових мікропалеонтологічних і біостратиграфічних досліджень. Проведено мікропалеонтологічні дослідження і мікрофаціальну типізацію морських карбонатних відкладів, представлених у шліфах, здійснено фотодокументування та створено електронний каталог колекцій палеонтологічних шліфів, що містить інформацію про походження і місце зберігання шліфа, стратиграфічну прив’язку, короткий мікрофаціальний опис шліфа (із зазначенням усіх виявлених органічних решток), списки виявлених та визначених форамініфер і водоростей, електронну адресу шліфа, а також фото мікрофаціального типу вапняку.
