ЕТАПИ РОЗВИТКУ ОСАДОВИХ БАСЕЙНІВ ПІВНІЧНОЇ УКРАЇНИ В ПАЛЕОГЕНІ

Проаналізовано еволюцію поглядів на стратиграфічні схеми палеогену ХХ сторіччя. Подані підсумки літолого- палеонтологічного вивчення регіональних стратиграфічних підрозділів палеогену Північної України за останні 20 років, які стали основою ревізії діючої регіональної стратиграфічної шкали. Регіояруси розглядаються як відображення трансгресивно-регресивної циклічності палеобасейнів. Наведено уточнену характеристику псьольського, мерлинського, канівського, бучацького, київського, обухівського, межигірського та берецького регіоярусів. Псьольський і мерлинський регіояруси в якості самостійних регіональних стратонів описано вперше. Освітлено положення границь регіональних ярусів палеогену Північної України в МСШ. Складено схему біостратиграфічного (зонального) поділу палеогену за найважливішими планктонними фосиліями. При датуванні враховані дані за молюсками, палінофосиліями, еласмобранхіями, отолітами, тетраподами. Встановлені стратиграфічні (корелятивні) інтервали за органікостінним, вапняковим та кременистим мікропланктоном стали підґрунтям внутрішньо- та міжрегіональній кореляції. Регіояруси палеогену Північної України зіставлені з ярусами МСШ і регіональними підрозділами Південної України, Білорусі та Росії. Відмічені рівні проблемних кореляцій. Обґрунтовується пропозиція про розділення берецького регіояруса на два самостійних регіояруса. Намічені шляхи подальших досліджень.Посилання
