ПАЛЕОГЕНОВІ ВІДКЛАДИ ПІВНІЧНОУКРАЇНСЬКОЇ ПАЛЕОСЕДИМЕНТАЦІЙНОЇ ПРОВІНЦІЇ

Подані підсумки літолого-палеонтологічного вивчення місцевих стратиграфічних підрозділів палеогену Північної України за останні 20 років, які стали основою ревізії діючих місцевих стратиграфічних схем. Пропонується до розгляду нова (актуалізована) стратиграфічна схема палеогенових відкладів Дніпровсько-Донецької западини (ДДЗ), Українського щита (УЩ) та окраїн Донецької складчастої споруди (ДСС), складена відповідно до вимог Стратиграфічного кодексу (2012). Наведено уточнену літо-біостратиграфічну характеристику основних світ палеогену (сумської, мерлинської, канівської, бучацької, київської, обухівської, межигірської). Зміївська та сиваська світи вперше описані в якості самостійних місцевих стратонів. Виділені нові стратиграфічні підрозділи еоценових відкладів в ранзі товщ. Змінено стратиграфічний статус деяких місцевих стратонів. Відмічені проблемні номенклатурні питання. Намічені шляхи подальших досліджень.Посилання
